About Revival Fresh Vegetables
Every product in our Vegetables collection is crafted from genuine, whole ingredients sourced from local farms and regional kitchens across India. By utilizing advanced freeze-drying, we eliminate moisture while keeping aromatic spices, natural fruit sugars, and vital fiber intact without chemicals or deep frying.
How does freeze-drying work, and how is it different from dehydrating?
Freeze-drying (lyophilization) freezes the food to -40°C first, then removes ice crystals directly under a vacuum without applying cooking heat. This preserves the cellular structure, original shape, vivid colour, and natural flavour. Traditional dehydration uses continuous hot air which cooks the food, turns it tough or chewy, and diminishes natural taste.
Are there any artificial preservatives or chemical additives in Revival Fresh products?
No. Revival Fresh foods contain zero chemical preservatives, no added MSG, no artificial food colorings, and no synthetic shelf-life extenders. The shelf stability is achieved purely through moisture removal (below 2% moisture) and airtight multi-layer barrier packaging.
What is the shelf life of Revival Fresh meals and fruits?
Our ready-to-eat meals and vegetables typically have an ambient shelf life of 18 to 24 months, and our fruit pouches have a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in cool, dry conditions away from moisture.
How do I know how much hot water to add to a meal pouch?
Each pouch has an explicit internal water fill line printed on the inside. You can also measure the exact water volume indicated on the back of the pack (for instance, 210 ml for Bisi Bele Bath or Sambar Rice). Pour boiling hot water, stir well from the bottom, seal the pouch zipper, and let it rest for 5 to 6 minutes.
